Amaç

The aim of the oral and dental health program is to train health personnel who are preferred in the public and private sectors, who are respected, qualified, contemporary and who have reached the international level of knowledge in the field of dental health, to meet the intermediate staff needs of our country.

Kayıt ve Kabul Koşulları

In order to be accepted to this program, it is necessary to complete a high school or equivalent education, get a diploma and get sufficient points in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT). Students are admitted to the program according to the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education.

Mezuniyet Koşulları

In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all of the available courses (120 ECTS equivalent), to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and to successfully complete the compulsory internship.

Önceki Öğrenimin Tanınması

Students can apply to be exempted from the courses they have taken and succeeded from the higher education institutions they have previously registered or from an institution whose equivalence has been accepted. Exemption requests, when necessary, are decided by the board of directors by taking the opinion of the lecturer giving the course.

Program Yeterliliği

To have theoretical and practical knowledge at the basic level supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources containing up-to-date information in the field based on the qualifications gained at the secondary level.

Ability to work independently and take responsibility

To be able to carry out a basic level study related to the field independently.
To be able to take responsibility as a team member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in applications related to the field.
Ability to conduct activities aimed at the development of employees under their responsibility within the framework of a project.

Learning Competence

To be able to evaluate the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach, to be able to determine and meet the learning needs.

Communication and Social Competence

İstihdam Olanakları

Students who graduate from this department can work in dental clinics, dental units of hospitals, dental laboratories, and companies that provide technical equipment related to dental health.

Üst Dereceye Geçiş

If our graduates who want to continue their education are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by OSYM, they can transfer vertically to the relevant undergraduate programs. These programs are; Nursing, Healthcare Management, Social services, Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Undergraduate programs of Open Education Faculties

Ölçme ve Değerlendirme

In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam, they must attend at least 80% of the courses and practices. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz can also be evaluated) to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. A student who receives one of the letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course is deemed to have succeeded in that course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for the student to be successful in a course in which he received a DC or DD grade, the grade point average (ANO) for that semester must be at least 2.00.

Öğretme – öğrenme yöntem ve stratejileri, öğrencilerin kendi kendine çalışma, yaşam boyu öğrenme, gözlem yapma, başkasına öğretme, sunma, eleştirel düşünme, takım çalışması, bilişimden etkin yararlanma gibi becerilerini arttıracak şekilde seçilmektedir.
