Amaç

The Fashion Design Program started in 2010, giving priority to vocational education and teaching with an application-oriented method. The Fashion Design Program aims to train individuals who have developed the skills of making patterns needed by the industry, who can model in computer environment and classical methods, who have high creativity, who have the foresight to transform the design into a product, who can catch fashion trends and the agenda, and who can transfer their theoretical knowledge into practice.

Kayıt ve Kabul Koşulları

In order to be accepted to this program, it is necessary to complete a high school or equivalent education, get a diploma and get sufficient points in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT). Students are admitted to the program according to the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education.

Mezuniyet Koşulları

In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all of the available courses (120 ECTS equivalent), to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and to successfully complete the compulsory internship.

Önceki Öğrenimin Tanınması

Students can apply to be exempted from the courses they have taken and succeeded from the higher education institutions they have previously registered or from an institution whose equivalence has been accepted. Exemption requests, when necessary, are decided by the board of directors by taking the opinion of the lecturer giving the course.

Program Yeterliliği

Cognitive, Practical

Understands and applies methods and techniques related to the field of fashion design.
Uses scientific methods and techniques to solve problems encountered in accordance with the theoretical knowledge and skills he has gained for the field of fashion design.
It designs knowledge of contemporary and contemporary issues, professional practices with an esthetic perspective.
Designing, applies model development, mold preparation, cutting, planting and quality control techniques.
Uses computer and information communication technologies to support professional development.


İstihdam Olanakları

Graduates of the Fashion Design program can work as stylists, models and designers in public institutions and organizations, textile factories and workshops, knitting-weaving-printing industry, ready-made clothing sector, textile export companies, private enterprises, fashion houses and model shops; they can also create job opportunities for themselves by opening their own workshops and fashion houses in the sector.

If our graduates who want to continue their education are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by OSYM, they can transfer vertically to the relevant undergraduate programs. Ölçme ve Değerlendirme

In order for each student to register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and take the final exam, they must attend at least 80% of the courses and practices. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz can also be evaluated) to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. A student who receives one of the letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course is deemed to have succeeded in that course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for the student to be successful in a course in which he received a DC or DD grade, the grade point average (ANO) for that semester must be at least 2.00.
